Garlic Confit

Description

Whole, peeled garlic cloves cooked gently in olive oil, resulting in a sweet, rich, and nutty flavor. The garlic becomes soft, creamy, and almost buttery, making it spreadable. 

How to use it:

Spreadable:
Mash the tender cloves and spread them on toast, sandwiches, or grilled bread. 
In dishes:
Stir or blend confit garlic into pasta sauces, mashed potatoes, soups, stews, and risottos. 
In dressings and dips:
Whisk into salad dressings or blend into dips like hummus or aioli for a deeper garlic flavor.
